The shipping container was sourced locally, painted inside and out, and outfitted with a small change room and a lounge with a counter kitchenette. In front of the cabana, the dock, inlayed with cedar, transitions into the stone around the pool area. The rectangular pool has a gray undertone lining with a large paver surround and natural flag stone coping. Stepping stones separated by creeping thyme between the pool surround and the shipping container add a bit of greenery and break up the hardscape. Behind the loungers is a garden with a boxwood hedge and ornamental grass. A firepit nestled into the forest brings a cottage feel.
