Workers Cottages Form the Core of This Spacious Modern Home

This spacious home was formed by gutting and connecting two 1880’s workers cottages. A two-story board-and-batten addition housing the new master suite was built in the back. The dining room and kitchen occupy one cottage and the living room and study in the other. Although the interior has a contemporary feel, the exposed brick walls, beams and arch entryways help give a sense of the historic structure of the two buildings.
