Due to space limitations, the game room was built as a top of garage addition. Approximately 1000 sq ft, this space shas an industrial vibe and erves as a kids sleep-over space, play/game/TV area, and workout space. The ping-pong table can be folded and stored away when not is use. There is a wet bar with built-in cabinetry as well as a separate bar top. A mini-split HVAC system keeps the space comfortable all year long. For your own bonus space, the homeowners recommend keeping versatility in mind, especially for unexpected future need, avoiding large heavy furniture, and getting professional advice when needed.

Created from a partial patio reclamation and and the new staircase to the game room, the home office has an under-stair book nook complete with a bookshelf and mattress, making it perfect for reading, doing homework and napping. The walls are decorated with patterned wallpaper and shiplap that covers hidden under-stair storage.
