Two Ways to Style an Entryway

Depending on your personal preference, you can make your entryway functional or a bit more formal. Learn more about these two ways to style an entryway in this Pottery Barn video:

A functional entryway should have three elements: a great bench, a place for a few decorative items (you can use a wall-mounted shelf instead of a table to save space), and a catch-all space (this can include hooks and a pinboard for displaying postcards, photos and schoolwork).

A formal entryway should have a console table that serves as a landing spot for everything that comes through the door, a good statement mirror that provides visual impact, and a stylish, durable area rug.
