Two Ways of Styling a Living Room Around a Neutral Sectional

H&H editors Jennifer Koper and Kai Ethier accept a design challenge to create a living room using a gray modular sectional as the anchor piece. See their two ways of styling a living room around a neutral sectional in this House & Home video:

Vignette #1 – Soft Modern: This is a neutral look with a beige area rug and the wall painted in a soft putty-colored pink, but a few hits of black were added to give a bit of an edge. The space is accessorized with a visually striking floating wood coffee table, black cane chair, throw pillows in a brown-gray tone with touches of pink and purple, books and black-and-white wall art.

Vignette #2 – Global Bohemian: This space has a rich color palette with a red-and-pink area rug and the wall painted in green. The round handwoven rope coffee table, patterned floor cushions, colorful sofa pillows, plants, and two oversized pieces of fern-themed wall art add lots of visual interest.
