Two-Toned Kitchen Renovation
The outdated kitchen in this 100-year old home had a red and white color scheme and old appliances; the space was both unappealing and under-utilized. See the features of this two-toned kitchen renovation in this House & Home video:
The kitchen was approximately 10 ft. x 15 ft.; the design goal was to maximize the space with an island and more counter surface and storage.
A pantry wall with narrow shelves and pull-out drawers hides the existing chimney stack. Rustic open shelves surrounding the stove were made from reclaimed wood from a 100-year old barn. Two-toned cabinetry consists of white uppers and dark gray base cabinets. The tall servery has built-in shelves and a white tile backsplash.
