Traditional vs Contemporary Kitchen Design Competition
If you have a large kitchen and like to entertain, would you go with a traditional or contemporary upgrade? See the competing kitchen designs by Krista Watterworth and Frank Fontana in this Moen Faucets video:
The homeowners like throwing big parties for friends and family, and they always end up entertaining in the kitchen. While their kitchen was large, they felt the need to come up with just the right style.
Krista presented a traditional design with chocolate brown marble countertops, chocolate brown flooring, white patina cabinetry with an arts and crafts feel, oil rubbed bronze hardware (including a Moen Vestige double-lever high arc faucet) and a Moen Lancelot double bowl sink featuring a soundshield undercoating to minimize sound and a curved organic shape.
Frank’s modern design included natural stone countertops, bamboo flooring, chrome on the pulls, dishtray and sink, a Moen Level high arc faucet and a Moen Lancelot professional double bowl sink with an angular shape.
The winner: the traditional design! The decisive factors were the brightness of the design and the distinctive faucet.
