Traditional Modern Farmhouse

This traditional modern farmhouse blends masculine Western and soft feminine styles and incorporates natural materials and traditional finishes such as polished nickel in the plumbing fixtures and brass elements in the light fixtures and hardware. The kitchen has white cabinetry, a white oak island, gray-and-white veined marble countertops and an engineered wood floor. Arched built-ins, pillows, throws and curtains make the living room welcoming and comfortable, but it also includes Western touches such as leather furniture and a reclaimed wood coffee table with a natural stone top; the family room is more rustic with a woodburning fireplace and Western art and decor, including the homeowner’s saddle. The master bathroom has Calacatta flooring, a white shiplap tub surround, ceramic shower walls, and the same marble countertops and cabinetry as in the kitchen.
