Tiny House That Started the Small-Space Trend
This tiny house is the one that started the small-space trend. At just 96 square feet, the designer had to be very innovative to include all the comforts of home in the equivalent of a parking space. See the design details in this HGTV Remodels video:
The main room serves several different purposes with every square inch maximized for storage with hanging closets and galvanized bins.
Tucked away behing the closet is an office nook with plenty of space for books and a laptop and printer.
The kitchen has a removable burner that takes a full-size pot along with storage above and below the counter.
The bedroom in the loft has space for a full-size mattress with storage space up under the eaves, along both sides, and at the foot and head of the bed. A Gothic window lets in tons of daylight and keeps the loft from becoming claustrophobic.
The small furniture specially designed for this home includes a dining table for three that stows away when not in use, with stools that can serve as chairs or footrests.
