Three Personalized Kid Spaces

Designing a kid’s room is fun because you can include more colors, textures, and patterns and tailor it to their likes and personality. And in this renovated home, each child is fortunate enough to have their own ensuite. See the features of these three personalized kid spaces in this House & home video:

10-Year-Old Girl’s Bedroom: This space has a pink and teal color palette and a bit of a California Hollywood feel. The window seat has lots of pillows with different colors and textures, creating a cozy nook for reading or hanging out with friends. The standout hot pink flamingo wallpaper in the bathroom is neutralized with white marble hex flooring and white subway tile in the shower.

8-Year-Old Boy’s Bedroom: Colorful wall art inspired by comic books and superheroes is balanced with the neutral gray color palette. The bathroom has a nautical theme with a whale shower curtain, a porthole mirror that doubles as a medicine cabinet, and dark blue subway tile in the shower.

12-Year-Old Boy’s Bedroom: Letter marquees above the headboard and music-themed artwork give this more mature space a rock star vibe. The round mirror with its strap detail and high sconces are a beautiful focal point in the bathroom.
