Surprise Bathroom Makeover

Designer Sharrah Stevens surprises her mother, designer Rebecca Robeson, with a surprise bathroom makeover. See the features of this sleek, modern and sophisticated bathroom remodel in this video by The Kinwoven Home:

The bathroom had old fixtures, cultured marble on the vanity and in the shower, and a mix of wood and tile flooring. In the updated space, the renovated vanity has new cabinet doors and drawer fronts with brushed nickel faucets, knobs and pulls. The wall-to-wall mirror with recessed medicine cabinets was retained, and the tile flooring was replaced with luxury vinyl planks, creating a good sense of flow between the bathroom and bedroom.

In the tub area, the modern dramatic faucet gives a waterfall effect; new pendant lights add sparkle, and black shelving provides contrast with the buttery gold color. The updated shower has a rain showerhead and handheld shower; the cultured marble was replaced with travertine stone slabs filled in with resin on two walls and a feature wall in subway tile.

A modern clock tower provides storage space. The water closet was updated with a new electric toilet, toilet paper holder and hooks. In the adjacent walk-in closet, the header height was raised and a beautiful casement, new shelving and smoky mercury glass pendants wer added.
