Stylish Writing Desk Transformation
An antique oak secretary is transformed into a stylish writing desk in this House & Home video:
For this DIY project, the secretary was sanded and then cleaned with a degreaser. Danish oil was used to condition the surfaces that would not be painted. Two coats of dusty pink paint were applied to the inside. A foamboard covered with pretty fabric nestled into the back of the desk serves as a pinboard. Attractive accessories complete the transformation into the perfect study nook.
