It all starts with a huge 12-foot island. Durable quartz countertops make it easy to clean and give you a light and bright prep space. Having all this space means there’s seating for four beneath three oversized lights that show off the tall vaulted ceilings above, and there’s even open shelving on each end.

The hood and dish boxes are made from reclaimed wood. Below is an inset tile backsplash. The crisp tile has a handmade quality to it and is arrayed in a diamond pattern. It’s surrounded by modern cabinetry accented with elegant brass hardware.

Just past the kitchen is a floating buffet centered beneath a large window, which on its own is a great feature. Open the accordion window above, and you’ve got a passthrough to the bar outside.
