Small Bathroom Dream Makeover

This bathroom had not been renovated in 15 years and was in desperate need of an update. The finishes were dated, there was a lack of storage, the shower fixtures weren’t completely functional, and despite having a window, the space felt dark. See the features of this small bathroom dream makeover in this House & Home video:

After the bathroom was taken down to the studs. the ceiling was elevated. A Velux Sun Tunnel and pale color palette brighten the space. A refinished salvaged Egyptian door adds a personal touch to the new linen closet.

White subway tiles up the walls and across the ceiling frame the showstopping leaf shape marble mosaic feature wall in the bathtub/shower alcove. Two large niches provide storage for lots of personal care products, and the rain head adds a nice luxurious touch.

Marble brick flooring laid in a herringbone pattern adds a graphic element to the space; gray grout accentuates the veining in the marble. The gray vanity has a stunning marble countertop and provides plenty of storage. Above the vanity is a round mirror and pendant lighting.
