Sleek Urban Makeover of a Small Condo Kitchen
The owner of this small condo kitchen – only 64 square feet – was tired of the builder cabinets, countertops and finishes. Watch how this kitchen gets a sleek urban makeover in this House & Home video:
The goal of this renovation was to give the kitchen a slick downtown vibe and also to maximize efficiency and storage. Features of this makeover include:
- Small custom cabinets with a medium gray finish and stainless steel lip pulls, including a pull-out for spices and condiments
- European-size appliances including a 24″ refrigerator and a 24″ two-piece cooktop and oven
- Tile backsplash
- Modular carpet tiles on the floor
- Track lighting with a pair of glass pendants
Finishing touches included a custom table and bench constructed from steel and solid walnut and artwork for the adjacent dining area.
