The family room has an industrial chic vibe but is totally livable. Seating is all neutral in color, with creamy white fabric on the sofa and chairs that blends well with the texture of the cable knit rug. The space is all about touchable fabrics and lighting, art and accessories with modern edging and metal detail, including the faux steel beams and the metal facade on the fireplace.

On the other side of the family room is the equally dramatic kitchen, which is all about the black and white contrast. The extra long island has a large matte black sink, sleek black faucet, and bold cross-back stools. Overhead industrial pendant lights are the perfect complement. Looking sharp against the beige linen cabinets with dramatic oversized pulls, the black and white geometric tile backsplash adds an element of fashion in an unexpected way. There are lots of thoughtfully built-out cabinets and a pantry area, making storage, organization and cooking convenient and easy.

The adjacent breakfast nook is flooded with natural light and has a coffee and beverage bar and a mix of seating including chairs and a long comfortable banquette accessorized with pillows and a throw.
