Seaside-Themed Kids Bathroom

This kids bathroom dating from the ’60’s was not so kid friendly with its pea green tile, tired wallpaper and dark cabinets. The homeowners wanted the bathroom to be inviting and tranquil with an underwater feel. See the results of this seaside-themed makeover in this DIY Network video:

The transformed bathroom is alive with seaside colors.

The vanity was adapted to create a lower sink at kid level and now has a solid surface top and sports a new splash effect paint finish.

New ceramic tile highlighted with aquamarine glass tiles brightens the wall, and new wallpaper adds a colorful touch and blends well with the new PVC flooring.

Kid-sized cubby lockers, a kid sized toilet and new mirrors, lights and faucets complete this makeover.
