Romantic Bedroom Makeover for a Rock Musician

This girls bedroom, renovated 15 years ago, needed a major overhaul; the daughter grew up but the room never did. See the features of this romantic bedroom makeover for a rock musician in this House & Home video:

The design goal was to create a bedroom that was a little bit edgy and a tad modern but still romantic and pretty.

As a first step, the loft was removed and the walls given a fresh coat of paint. The dramatic floral wallpaper mural creates a focal wall behind the new low-profile bed that has a glossy ’80’s vibe. Glass-topped tables with task lamps flank the bed, and a glass table serves as a desk.

Occupying the former loft space, the seating area has an art wall, floor lamp, chair, coffee table and green velvet sofa. Vases, decorative boxes, a faux fur throw and pink drapery for the closets provide the finishing touches.
