Palm Springs-Inspired Mid-Century Modern Home

This Palm Springs-inspired Mid-Century modern home was designed around the landscape design and has a neutral nature-inspired color palette, lots of textures, large windows and a mix of cementitious terrazzo and white oak flooring throughout. A three-sided Algonquin limestone wood-burning fireplace separates the family room with its cozy sectional and glass doors from the dining room with its slatted accent wall and floating console table. The focal point of the home is the kitchen which has a floating island, glass panel backsplash, built-ins that house supplies, spices and utensils, champagne-colored metal laminate cabinetry and Caesarstone countertops. Flanking the entryway are the powder room and home office. Off the hallway leading to the principal bedroom are his and hers closet rooms. The principal bath has his and hers vanities and a glass shower. On the opposite end of the home are the two kids’ bedrooms and a walk-out space. The lower level has a play area, gym, TV area, guest room and guest bathroom. Indoor-outdoor living is maximized by the sport court, entertaining space, and the deck area with its pool and hot tub.
