New Zealand Tiny Home on Wheels

This New Zealand tiny home on wheels is totally off the grid and has a water collection system and an outdoor shower. Take the tour of host Bryce Langston’s finished home in this “Living Big in a Tiny House” video:

This approximately 161 square-foot home has a simple kitchen with a high countertop, three connecting sinks and a small fridge. There is no cooktop as cooking is done outside.

Double-glazed windows made from thermally broken aluminum and polyester insulation keep the home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There is also a small wood stove.

The stairwell and built-ins have ample storage and the home is decorated throughout with paua inlay panels in a “seed of life” pattern. There is an office space with a bookcase and a chair that can double as a stepstool or as a table.

A pocket door leads into a bathroom with custom features such as a large shower with a rainfall shower head, vanity with lighted mirror and vessel sink, and a full-length mirror. The small sleeping loft has dual skylights.
