Multifunctional Garage Transformation

While the roof on this 13-year-old two-car garage was sagging, the real tipping point that triggered a makeover was the interior mess that barely allowed parking just one car. See the details of this multifunctional garage transformation in this House & Home video:

Several coats of white paint from top to bottom freshened up this formerly dark and dingy space.

The garage interior needed to be attractive for crafting and displaying items and resemble a shop. Loft storage and a pull-down ladder were added, freeing up floor space. Ikea kitchen cabinetry and open shelving were installed in lieu of the typical garage organizational systems. The old worktable was retained as it was the perfect size and gave the space a vintage touch. A tilt-shift drafting table serves as a potting shed. Recycling bins are hidden behind a sliding barn door.
