Multi-purpose Garage

At first glance the garage in the 2015 HGTV Urban Oasis appears to be just that, but it’s actually a multi-purpose room. See the features in this HGTV video:

A garage doesn’t just have to be for your car. With the right design tricks, you can turn it into a super-usable room. In this garage, painting the walls the same color as the home’s exterior connects the inside with the outside, while the black ikat-style pattern applied to the walls adds drama. Lambrequin window treatments give the windows an architectural feel.

The trio of pendant lights is made from iron and white-tinted glass, allowing the entire space to be used for throwing parties and hanging out on the weekends once the car is pulled out.

Potential dead space in back of the garage was turned into a usable area. A farmhouse style sideboard holds supplies for washing the car, keeping the space clutter-free. On top is everything to turn the space into a functioning art studio.
