Modern Home with Elegant Details

This red brick building of rental units, built in 1912, was converted into a modern home with elegant details, starting with the foyer which has honed marble slab floors and lime wash wall panels with antique brass inlays. The small but cozy living room has a fireplace with a French marble mantel and cast iron back panels. Serving as a large hallway between the living room and kitchen is the dining room with its custom-made limestone table and sculptural light fixture. The kitchen is light and bright with Carrara marble countertops and backsplash, plaster pendants, and classic stainless steel detail; bi-folding glass doors open the space to the outdoors. Hidden doors lead to the powder room, basement and pantry. A large walk-in closet leads into the master bedroom which has a Parisian hotel vibe and ensuite bath with arched windows, an arched mirror over the vanity, freestanding soaker tub and steam shower.
