Light-Filled Modern Bungalow

This light-filled modern bungalow was originally dark and dated with cramped rooms. The renovation started by painting the exterior red brick in a soft white and installing wooden front steps and a modern mailbox and house numbers. To open the space, the walls were removed, the ceiling vaulted, and skylights installed to bring in more light. In the living room, the focal point is an electric fireplace cladded with a white brick veneer and custom steel mantel filled with short cut logs, and the space is furnished with a dark sofa, open back chairs and a unique hex cut modular coffee table that doubles as seating.
