Kitchen Facelift that Really Wows
With new appliances and a large open layout, this 90’s kitchen has some positive attributes, but personality wasn’t one of them. For just $2,000, the homeowners gave this kitchen a facelift that really wows. See how in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:
The homeowners updated the space with just a few cosmetic changes including paint, light fixtures and sunny yellow stools. A stone mosaic tile backsplash ties together the room’s color palette, while new hardware and paint helps existing cabinetry shine.
A stainless steel sink with a pull-down faucet adds function under a cheery bright window treatment. Two lantern-style pendants replaced a bulky fluorescent light above the island.
The dining area also looked dated with vertical blinds and a dull light fixture. Now, a chic drum-shaped pendant and rich gold curtains add a sophisticated style to this space.
By focusing on a few simplet updates to accommodate the $2,000 budget, this kitchen now has all the flair and function it needs.
