How to Transform a Living Room Corner Into a Home Office

Designer Monica Mangin’s living room transformation began by painting a jumbo rainbow mural on the corner walls, taping kids’ chalk to a yardstick 8 inches apart and drawing across the wall, and then painting the rainbow in difference colors using small rollers. A jumbo memo board was made from a project panel, foam boards and gray curtain panels. Simple PVC pipe (straight pieces, T-connectors, elbows and end caps) and different colored yarn strands were used to create a standing video conferencing backdrop. The final project was a sitting/standing adjustable work desk created from a closet rail system and project panels.
