How to Select Kitchen Hardware
Choosing kitchen hardware can be overwhelming as there are so many choices, but the right knobs or pulls can provide a finishing touch. Learn how to select kitchen hardware in this Better Homes and Gardens video:
Without any cabinet hardware, the kitchen can look unfinished and even a bit naked, but it’s simple to use knobs, pulls or a combination to create a custom look in your kitchen. Here are some tips:
For a simple look, use knobs throughout the kitchen. Round or square knobs work in a casual kitchen, and more ornate knobs add style to traditional rooms.
Handles and bars, often called pulls, have more visual presence. Long tubular pulls are at home in a modern kitchen.
If you can’t decide, mix knobs and pulls together to create a custom look. Install knobs on cabinet doors and use pulls or bars on heavier drawers.
