How to Make an Air Plant Frame

Air plants come in different colors and sizes and are easy to grow. Since they don’t require dirt, they can be displayed in a variety of ways. Learn how to make an air plant frame in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:



1. Spray-paint a wooden frame. Let dry.

2. Measure and cut chicken wire to fit frame. Attach with staples.

3. Measure and cut a square dowel to sides of frame opening.

4. Use wood glue and screws to attach dowels to back of frame.

5. Add picture hanger.

6. Bend paper clips into hooks (these will hold the air plants).

7. Hang the frame and attach hooks to the chicken wire.

8. Mount the air plants on the hooks.
