How to Make a Cornhole Board

Cornhole (also called bean bag) is a lawn game that is fun for the whole family, and making your own board is a quick and easy DIY project. Learn how to make a cornhole board in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:



1. Cut all lumber to size and sand as needed.

2. Measure center point on legs.

3. Mark rounded edges with a compass.

4. Bore holes.

5. Cut rounded edges on both legs. Sand to finish.

6. Cut opposite end at angle.

7. Assemble legs in an H shape.

8. Fill any holes with putty.

9. Construct box frame.

10. Glue plywood to frame. Secure with nails.

11. Measure to find center.

12. Draw circle with compass, cut hole and sand.

13. Use spacer to align legs.

14. Drill holes for legs.

15. Paint the board.

16. Attach legs to box.
