You will need the following items for this DIY project:

  • 22″ wreath
  • 28″ wreath
  • 60′ of wired ribbon
  • scissors
  • ceiling hook

1. Tie ribbons on the small wreath: Cut three ribbons each approximately 5 feet in length. With the small wreath’s wire frame facing up, slip one end of the ribbon through the frame’s rim and knot firmly. Repeat with the other two ribbons, spacing them evenly around the wreath. Gather the ribbons together and knot at a point 15 inches above the wreath center.

2. Attach large wreath: Attach three ribbons approximately 6 1/2′ in length to the larger wreath frame, knotting them at evenly spaced intervals around the wreath. Gather the ribbons together and knot at a point 20 inches above the wreath center. Place a knot at the top end of the hanger ribbons.
Place the larger wreath on top of the smaller wreath aligning the hanger ribbons. The knot created by the hanger ribbons of the smaller wreath should be in the same plane as the larger wreath. Gather the hanger ribbons of both wreaths together and knot them 20 inches above the center of the larger wreath. Trim the ends of the hanger ribbons above the top knot to create a finished look.

3. Hang the chandelier: Screw the hook into the ceiling and hang the wreaths from the top hanger ribbon knot. Tie a four-foot length ribbon at the base of each hanger ribbon and fashion it into a classic bow, or alternatively use bow ornaments.

You now have a beautiful wreath chandelier to welcome in the holidays!
