How to Make a Bunny Door Hanger

It’s easy to make a welcoming Easter/Spring decoration for your front door using colorful fabric and embroidery hoops. Learn how to make a bunny door hanger in this HGTV video:

1. Start with two embroidery hoops, one 7.8-inch for the bunny’s head and the other 10.2-inch for the bunny’s body.

2. Fill the hoops with your desired fabric and cut off the excess.

3. Place the hoops together and secure with hot glue.

4. Make the tail from white yarn using a pom-pom maker and scissors. Secure at the bottom of the larger hoop with hot glue.

5. Draw two bunny ear shapes on cardboard and cut them out using scissors. Cover with fabric and secure to the smaller hoop with hot glue.

6. Add decorative trim around the edges of both hoops.

7. Tie a bow and secure it with floral wire just below the bunny head.

8. Make a small ribbon loop and attach to the back of the bunny head.

9. Hang the bunny on the door.
