How to Install a Door Viewer
A peep hole or door viewer lets you see who is outside your door and provides added home security. Learn how to install a door viewer in this Lowe’s video:
1. Choose a location between 4 and 5-1/2 feet high. Find the center of the door and mark with a pencil.
2. Drill a level pilot hole first.
3. Choose a drill bit the size of the inner diameter. Drill halfway through from each side.
4. Add the door viewer and screw it together.
5. Apply a bead of silicone caulk to keep out moisture.
