Gutter clips are plastic clips that you can put over the edge of the gutter. The clip slides onto the gutter and then holds firmly, and it has a small hook that you can feed the cord of the lights through. Put enough clips on the gutter to hold the lights securely. Using a ladder, place the clips and feed the wire at the same time so you’re not constantly going up and down the ladder. You also need to be mindful of where the lights are going to be plugged in. Make sure that you start on the male end of the light so you can run an extension cord down to the exterior outlet that you’re going to plug it into, and then feed it across. With LED lights, you can plug several strands together and then plug them into the outlet without worry of blowing a circuit.
