How to Create Abstract Watercolor Artwork
It’s easy to create contemporary art for your home using watercolor paint. Learn how to create abstract watercolor artwork in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:
1. Saturate canvas with water.
2. Add a few drops of liquid watercolor.
3. Add additional colors until you reach your desired saturation.
4. Tilt the canvas to blend colors as desired.
5. Use a condiment bottle to blow ink.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 across the entire canvas.
7. Add water until color begins to pool. Blot excess water with a paper towel if needed.
8. Spread ink by pressing down on canvas.
9. Let dry overnight.
