Agave cacti are very architectural and can be planted in large containers. They are virtually indestructible, grow very large, and don’t require watering during the summer. You can maintain them by cutting off the yellowed or browned blades. Use a trowel to cut out the offshoots or pups and plant them in sandy soil, and they will grow like crazy.
Unlike other house plants, agave can take a lot of sun so you can place them in front of your windows. They come in different shapes and sizes. The dwarf variety featured in this video has a blade-like structure with pernicious little thorns but a beautiful bouquet of foliage.
