In the foyer, the amazing light fixture, constructed from steel, bicyle wheels and machine parts, represents Pittsburgh perfectly as an abstract take on the steel city.

The walls and ceiling of the study are covered in an eggplant color, adding a layer of texture and drama. Built-in bookcases surround the big picture window. A pair of blush pink chaise lounges soften up the dramatic dark colors and add layers of lux and femininity. A geometric rug mimics the bookcases. The bold industrial light fixture is literally the jewelry in the room.

Just across the hall is the formal dining room. Five rich velvety dining room chairs surround the contemporary whitewashed wood tabletop. Dramatic drapes add a lot of personality, and the light fixture is the picture of industrial glam. The bold geometric rug plays perfectly off the architectural white wall panels; it is juxtaposed with an unexpected artichoke punch on the ceiling that plays extremely well with the chairs. The owl pattern in the drapery fabric speaks perfectly to the playfulness in the room.
