Glamorous Seaside Bathroom
The beach city of Del Mar provided the inspiration for this glamorous seaside bathroom. Take the tour in this Kohler video:
Designer Bella Mancini translated the understated glamour of Del Mar in the 1930’s and 40’s into this bathroom. The skylight color of sinks, toilet, tub and shower enclosure gives an ocean feel. Grass cloth brings a bit of earthiness and texture to the walls, while mother of pearl was applied to the ceiling. The bathtub niche is low enough to allow exiting the bath without requiring grab bars; a book can be placed on the shelf.
