Functional Working Chef’s Kitchen

As part of the kitchen makeover, the dining and living room spaces were merged in an unusual way but true to how the homeowners use the space. Shelves run continuously from the kitchen into the living space and go from hanging pots and pans to displaying kids’ pictures.

The long dining table also serves as prep space and is located close to where food is cooked. Two stoves allow the clients to cook side by side. The kitchen’s feature piece is a large pantry that balances the old historic brick juxtaposed against new modern clean line shelves.
