From Warehouse to Dream Home – Painting, Flooring, Doors and Trimwork

Painting, flooring, doors and trimwork were the last design details to be addressed in this warehouse to dream home project. The chosen colors needed to work well with the brick, wood, windows and artwork, and the family selected dove white for the main living areas, blue and pink for the kids rooms, black for the doors and trim, and two shades of green on the exterior. The kitchen cabinetry and island, granite countertops with a leather finish, reclaimed hardwood for the second story flooring, custom-built closet shelving made from cabinet-grade plywood, solid core five-panel doors, rock flooring for the bathroom, and a decorative iron railing outside the kitchen’s rolling glass door were installed.
