Four Tips for Hanging Curtains
For curtains to hang properly, it’s important to size them correctly and position the rod at the right height. This video by Better Homes and Gardens presents four tips for hanging curtains:
1. Use enough fabric. Curtain panels should be about two times the width of your window.
2. Don’t pick a short curtain. Curtains should float just above the floor.
3. Don’t hang your curtain rod too low. Mount the rod 4 to 6 inches above the window frame.
4. Don’t pick a short curtain rod. Choose one that’s 8 to 12 inches longer than your window’s width.
