Four Seasons Screened-In Porch

This is the kind of screened-in porch that dreams (or at least naps) are made of, and it may become the most popular spot in the house for entertaining, lounging, or just quiet family time. The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams make the space feel extra wide open. Two comfortable couches, although made for the outdoors, are still super-cozy. A pair of side tables and a generously sized coffee table, all made of concrete, offer plenty of space to set down a drink or put up your feet.

All of the furniture is placed around and looking at the fireplace, the biggest focal point in the room. The large format porcelain tiles have the look of individual handpainted tiles, giving it a little bit of a craftsman feel.

A flat panel TV is mounted on the wall, making this porch more of an outdoor family room. The gigantic modern ceiling fan keeps things cool in the warmer months. Plenty of accent pillows and throw blankets play with the navy color of the exterior of the house. The other accent color used in this space is green, which is seen in the potted plants around the porch and in the beautiful private view.
