Dreamy Romantic Master Suite
This master bedroom with its dark brown carpeting and oversized dark headboard was in need of a makeover. See how the space was transformed into a dreamy romantic master suite in this Smart Interiors video:
Problem spots in this master bedroom were the dark brown carpeting, oversized dark headboard, tiny bedside tables and ill-fitting bedding. The goal of this makeover was to create a romantic edgy space using a mix of rustic organic and glam elements.
The transformation began by painting the room a pale blue and replacing the carpet with a creamy patterned Berber. Other features of this makeover include:
- Custom platform bed with a creamy linen headboard that is flanked by two bachelor’s chests
- Cowhide bench at the foot of the bed
- Sitting area with two oversized chairs and ottoman and an armoire for display and storage
- Floor-to-ceiling black-and-white patterned panels and sheers
