DIY Rustic Wine Glass Holder and Bottle Rack

Learn how to build a rustic wine glass holder and bottle rack in this Moen video:

For this DIY project you will need a wooden crate, a rake with a wooden handle, a piece of 1×6 wood and a hole saw with drill.

1. Cut holes for the wine bottles in the bottom of the crate using the hole saw. The circumference of the holes should be the same as that of the base of the wine bottles.

2. On the back side of the crate, you will need to add a support system for the bottles which will be made from a 1×6 piece of wood. Use the bottom of the wine bottles to trace the holes on the board, then cut the board in half lengthwise. Attach both pieces to the back of the board and stain it to match the crate.

3. Cut or saw the rake handle, leaving just a small portion intace. Sand it and stain it. Attach a piece of leather cording to the tip of the handle and hang it on the wall. Slip the wine glasses onto your new holder.
