Decor that Celebrates Christmas and Hanukkah

Designer Tamara Robbins Griffith conducts a tour of her home’s main floor and its decor that celebrates Christmas and Hanukkah in this House & Home video:

The challenge was to make this small space feel magical and without impacting its functionality.

With her two small children and two cats in mind, the tree is decorated in felt and other non-breakable ornaments. A faux fur rug serves as a tree skirt.

On the mantel, small twinkle lights are intertwined with candles and glass ornaments. Presents wrapped in paper with a matching color scheme are stacked on shelves and do double-duty as decorations.

The dining room has a Hanukkah-themed sideboard with several different menorahs that guests can light when they come over for dinner.

Pretty ornaments and vintage collectibles given by friends and family provide sentimental finishing touches.
