Convert an Old Cabinet Into an Outdoor Mini Bar

With a few modifications, a cabinet or hutch can become a beverage and food station for your outdoor space. Learn how to convert an old cabinet into an outdoor mini bar in this HGTV video:

For this DIY project, you will need a cabinet or hutch, a power drill, a mini fridge, water-resistant paints, and wine glass racks.

1. Remove doors and shelves.

2. Drill a hole in the back for a power cord.

3. Re-paint the back for a new look. Use two colors to add dimension.

4. Add racks for wine glasses.

5. Place the mini fridge inside.

You can dress your mini bar in different ways for different events, like an outdoor dinner party, brunch, or movie night.
