Contemporary Barnhouse
This contemporary barnhouse consists of two separate houses connected by a glass bridge with a central courtyard. The first house has a grand foyer that looks right through the home, and each room on the main floor has a view into the courtyard; the main level has a powder room and mudroom, and the second floor has the primary bedroom and two other bedrooms. Crossing the bridge takes you to the main living house which has the great room. The living area has soaring 20+ foot ceilings with shiplap black wood and beams connected with wrought iron, as well as a bioethanol fireplace flanked by bookshelves. In the kitchen, with the exception of the large hood and range area, there are windows on top of all of the countertops. The island top, countertops, and the shelves flanking the windows are all statuario marble; a full walk-in pantry provides ample storage. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a built-in headboard and and a sitting area; the primary bath is a large wet room with a marble vanity, soaking tub and shower.
