Concrete Bathroom Design

The design of this concrete bathroom was carefully scaled to relate to the outdoors. See the features in this ConcreteNetwork.com video:

This corner master bathroom has a beautiful view of the surrounding redwood forest. To enhance the bathing experience, a low window and a
custom stainless steel soaking tub were installed in the corner. The tub was foam lined to retain the heat of the water.

The stone-colored concrete counter has various inlays. Mosaic tiles in the sloping sink area absorbs the impact of the water; tile was selected over concrete to prevent erosion.

The floor was part of of the original concrete pour for the home’s foundation. It was covered with a custom mixture of green pigment, mother of pearl, turquoise and sodalite and troweled over – not ground and polished until six months later. The finished floor esembles terrazzo but has a more organic quality, giving a homier look and feel.
