Colorful Master Suite

The colorful master suite in the 2018 HGTV Urban Oasis includes a bathroom with plenty of luxurious touches. See the features in this HGTV video:

To highlight the tall vaulted ceilings, the walls and ceiling were painted a bright peacock blue. Exposed beams painted white really pop against the blue color, as do the white upholstered bed and mid-century modern dressers.

Yellow accents were added to the blue and white bedding, creating a very happy vibe in the room. The yellow accents are also pulled into the window treatments, which are seen along two entire sides of this bedroom. Anchoring this entire space, there’s a beautiful modern light fixture that adds almost a preppy finishing touch to the room.

This is truly a fully private master suite. On one side of the room, there is a huge walk-in closet big enough to hold a super comfortable sofa, while on the other side of the room is a full-fledged master bath packed with natural light and beautiful features.

The bathroom walls are completely covered floor to ceiling in marble porcelain tile that’s made to look like Carrara marble, giving the space a very lux and timeless look. A sculptural freestanding tub is placed just under the window and accented with a Moravian star pendant.

With its graphic black metal design, the shower has a modern industrial feel and everything you need for a full-fledged spa experience, including body sprays, an in-ceiling rain shower fixture, and customizable controls. Matte black faucets, fixtures and lighting unify the bathroom with the shower’s modern industrial look. Unexpected French blues seen in the vanity and in some of the softer accessories help warm up the space.
