City Spa Bathroom

Take a tour of a contemporary city spa bathroom featured in this Kohler video:

Designer Clodagh’s philosophy is that bathrooms should be about silent design and shouldn’t interfere with your life. They should enhance your looks, allow you to pluck out stray hairs in good light and take care of yourself very well. She also favors layering materials but erodes them and make them wabi-sabi in the Japanese way.

Features of this city spa include:

  • Long concrete counter with ample space for two people to spread out their personal items
  • Timpani wash basin that provides a sculptured look
  • Mirror mounted on a rod which is attached to the counter, allowing taller or smaller people to use it and also look around it at the fountain and water garden
  • Dip in the concrete counter that provides space for a live plant
  • Stainless steel fronted drawers for storage along with concrete ledges for towels and hooks for robes
  • Soaking tub
  • Self-leveling concrete floor
