City Backyard Refresh

This city backyard has a cool modern feel with a nice mix of materials, including a tree and a patch of grass. All it needed was a thorough cleaning and new plants and accessories to make it entertainment-ready. See the results of the refresh of this outdoor space in this House & Home video:

Cleaning the hard surfaces along with the bench cushions and throw pillows was the first step of this refresh.

The dining space was outfitted with a new table to complement the existing bench and chairs. A butterfly chair flanked by plants creates a cozy seating nook.

The raised ledge along the back fence was the perfect spot for ferns, while the garden goes vertical with a ladder planter and fence-mounted plants. Colorful dining ware and accessories provide the finishing touches.
